About the Artist

While I have found photography to be a form of expression since I was a young adult, I began taking photography classes at TCC many years ago and continue to.

This has allowed me to hone my skill and create beautiful "art" photography. I enjoy looking to the great Renaissance Master painters for

inspiration. I work to incorporate strong light with dramatic drop off into darkness, a technique termed chiaroscuro lighting, while creating a

portrait that opens one's mind to the potential story behind the subject. Several of my pieces are currently on display at TCC's art show "Transformations."

I do a small amount of commercial work and am also a Affiliate Photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Photography
