About the Artist
I began this journey called “Artist” about 50+ years ago, for the most part, as a hobby, or a form of relaxation. This ultimately led to my pursuing it as my first stop on this journey as a Fine Arts Major/Advertising Design-Illustration, with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, class of ’74. I followed this path for over 20 years, in all aspects of Art Production – from design concept to final production; technical illustration to fanciful abstract art. My journey continued with a 3 year stop-over, as a stay-at-home dad while my children were young. Then it was on to the 3rd and final stop of the journey, for the next several years, as Certified Instructional Paraprofessional-Special Education. However, during all of these years, my own personal creative endeavors came to a halt for about 20 years.
It wasn’t until 2014, after a series of life’s tragic circumstances, that God gave me a new journey; which included, writing a daily Bible lesson for social media, and pursuing mu own creative endeavors as a Realist Illustrator/Wildlife Artist.
